"The designers at Neutrik apparently did something that few others in the connector business have done: They designed these connectors from the view of the installer. They give you what you need to overcome the various cable sizes and shield configurations found in higher-end audio cable. They packaged two different diameter spring reliefs and an ingenious plastic cable "squeeze" retainer that you add AFTER you finish soldering. Metal shell screws down tight and stay tight. The color ring is a cut and shrunk piece of heat shrink tubing, which could be changed to any color if you have a need to do it. Be sure to use silver alloy solder when soldering to gold plate. Final measurements with a DVM showed extremely low resistance. All in all, considering the price, these are hard to beat. Quality abounds with this product."
