EVO3 Nova 1 Power Conditioner (Silver)

The EVO3 Nova One is an evolution on from the original GII Nova but features a dramatically modified and improved clean power network and is positioned specifically for source components that use less power. Greater emphasis has been placed upon high-frequency filtering, and a nine section circuit consisting of both series and parallel filters dramatically removes both Common Mode and Differential Mode power line noise.

DESIGN

While the EVO3 Nova One is generically similar to the Titan One circuit, the Nova One is positioned specifically for source components that use less power. Within the filter network, greater emphasis has been placed upon high-frequency filtering. A nine section circuit consisting of both series and parallel filters dramatically removes both Common Mode and Differential Mode power line noise from the incoming mains supply. The middle sections of the filter, featuring IsoTek’s unique adaptive gating circuit which auto-senses the requirements of the connected load,  provides the ideal component specific filter level. A unique earth filtering circuit further enhances performance.

Nova One is compact measuring 75mm in width, 470mm deep and 125mm high housed in an extruded and machined aluminum chassis. At the rear is a single independent medium current output socket designed to drive source components, CD players, DACs, pre-amplifiers and turntable motors. There is also an Auxiliary connection point for adding and powering additional IsoTek power cleaners. For example, a total of six Titan One, Nova One or Genesis One products can be positioned side by side to create a rack width unit.

KERP © (Kirchoff’s Equal Resistance Path) ensures equal resistance and equal power delivery to all outlets. The internal wiring is of the highest standard, ultra pure Ohno Continuous Cast copper solid core conductor strands with silver-plating offers low resistance and high amperage. A Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) helix is wound around the conductor before an extruded FEP dielectric protects the conductor and creates a Virtual Dielectric of Air (VDA). This construction gives unrivalled performance and gives an ultimate low resistance, high performance internal power delivery system. With over a 100,000 Amps (1840 joules) of instantaneous protection, it harnesses IsoTek’s unique sequential cascading array of multiple VDRs and creates a flexible system that can react instantaneously when needed but generally increases gradually, to avoid dynamic compression or restrictions. Nova One will increase component life as well as protecting it against dangerous power surges and voltage spikes.

The internal wiring of Nova One synergizes with the range of IsoTek power cables. One critical but overlooked area is maintaining commonality of design and material properties though an audio wiring loom, be it signal carrying cables or your power cable network.
