Stylus Cleaner Fluid

This 15 ml (approx 1/2 oz) bottle of SC1 Fluid is formulated for use with the GrooveWasher SC1 Stylus Brush. It is also effective with other stylus brush styles. 

The stylus can become clogged with oily pressing release compound from new records and residue from other record cleaning and preservative fluids. SC1 Stylus Fluid dissolves these contaminants and the SC1 Brush removes them.

Our SC1 Stylus Fluid is a cousin of our G2 Fluid. Relatively low concentration of organic alcohol compared to other stylus fluids, which are often 100% isopropyl alcohol. Iso alcohol is an effective solvent but it evaporates too quickly and the contaminants can dry back on the stylus before it is removed with the brush.

This fluid should be used sparingly. Only one or two drops on the stylus brush. Regular use of the dry stylus brush will effectively keep the stylus tip clean and the fluid will only need to be used if deposits on the stylus do not come off with the dry brush.
