These are made from black painted steel and are very sturdy. The plate on which the speaker sits has 4 screw holes, so the speakers can be screwed to the stand. The speaker wiring can be routed through the stand and emerge from the centre of the base, so it looks very tidy. Supplied with 4 metal spikes, which give extra rigidity on carpet.
