New improved ISOsub GT 2

We have made several improvements to the ISOsub sub platter bringing even tighter tolerance, improved machining processes - the over size bearing shaft is ground to a couple of microns below the perfect size, the shaft is then diamond chrome plated in a non-magnetic electoless process process and finally ground again to within within 2 microns of tolerance

The ISOsub GT 2 kit now includes our reference formula ISOlube PLUS spindle lubricant, this oil is a sophisticated, fully synthetic oil providing a perfect coefficient of friction

The ISOsub is bead blasted to a perfect cosmetic finish 

Comprises - ISOsub sub platter plus ISObear Ruby Sapphire bearing and ISOlube PLUS bearing lubrication, magnet to remove steel ball, alcohol swaband instructions

Rega sub platter upgrade

MUST HAVE sub platter upgrade for all Rega 2, 3, 25 owners also suitable for other NAD and Moth turntables - replace the inferior plastic standard item

SUB PLATTER

The Sub platter assembly is two-piece construction. The hub is machined from Aluminium, the bearing axle is made of hardened and ground steel, and the record spindle is machined from Stainless Steel. Comes with three brass Cz121 contacts to provide further isolation between the platter and Sub platter assemblies. Following assembly, the Sub platter is carefully inspected for concentricity

The ISOsub has many important features including, Vibration at the record surface is reduced due to many factors including the decoupling of the spindle from the bearing axle,

You can use certain record clamps due to the longer spindle being longer than the original Rega item

The super low coefficient of bearing surface friction helps to lower noise floor immensely providing blacker blacks and extended but more controlled bass frequencies

Pitch control is much better due to super low 0.001 concentricity between the hub and the axle bearing

And of course the three point brass contacts perfectly balance the platter on the ISOsub sub platter

Running ultra smooth on Ruby Sapphire bearing or Ceramic bearing and ISOlube PLUS spindle lubrication fluid included with the full kit
