	LINN Sondek LP12 Cirkus Ekos Troika Lingo Product Code: LP12CETL SOLD A fully upgraded Linn Sondek LP12 in excellent condition. Purchased originally in 1982 (serial no. 27276) it has had the Cirkus main bearing and subchassis upgrade. The original tonearm has been replaced with the top-of-the-line Ekos. The Valhalla motor controller board has been replaced by the external electronic Lingo power supply. The Troika cartridge was recently re-tipped by the Garrott Lab with a Fritz Geiger Signature diamond. A second Troika cartridge is also included. 	Era 2022 belt drive turntable Product Code: 2022 SOLD Like brand new! In original packaging, complete with manual, never been used. ERA is a French hi fi brand from the 80s. This attractive unit is a belt drive with suspended chassis, and the tonearm uses a universal headshell making it easy to change and compare cartridges. 	Upgraded Rega Planar 2 Product Code: SRP2 SOLD This turntable was originally a Rega Planar 2 but has been substantially upgraded. The platter is now an acrylic one, with a rubber mat instead of the standard felt one. The RB250 tonearm has been upgraded with the Origin Live structural modification and the Incognito internal and external rewiring kit. The original turntable cost $799 and the mods about $700. 	Luxman direct drive turntable Product Code: PD290 SOLD Luxman quartz locked direct-drive turntables were a very popular item in the late 70s and 80s. This is a good example. In good condition it features switchable auto or manual operation. It includes a moving magnet cartridge which has been cleaned, aligned correctly and tested. Also included is the original packaging and owners manual. The lid is marked in a couple of places as you might expect after 20 or so years. This turntable deserves a better cartridge that what was provided as standard and an alternative new cartridge can be selected at a 20% discount (also includes settting up and testing).		Price:	QTY:

	Acoustic Research 77XB turntable Product Code: 77XB SOLD This is good example of a classic 3 point suspended turntable design. Overall in good condition. The tonearm is the original. There is a grey "felt" mat, and an AR stylus pressure gauge. The RCA plugs are not original and quite heavy duty although not a matching pair. The lift off dust cover is in fair condition. It has a basic Audio Technica cartridge - the stylus is in good condition. There is quite a lot of information about these AR turntables on the internet, and many modifications and upgrades are possible.		Price:	QTY:

	LUXMAN belt drive turntable (Rega P3 copy) Grace 707 tonearm Product Code: A522 SOLD An unusual item. Luxman are known for their excellent direct drive turntables but this one is a copy of a Rega Planar 3. It uses the same belt drive pulley and subplatter arrangement, and a glass platter. It's non-suspended, with a separate section for mounting the tonearm, which means different tonearms can be fitted. The tonearm included is the well known Grace 707. It is also available without tonearm for $385. This unit is in as new condition, with the original packaging and manual. The dust cover is unmarked - perfect.		Price:	QTY:

	Syrinx tone arm Product Code: PU2 SOLD A classic tonearm from the late 70s. The mechanical design of this arm is unique and is not oil damped or de-coupled in any way but due to the mass relationship of the vertical and horizontal planes the arm behaves like a critically damped tonearm. The major bass resonance magnitude, for example, is less than half what would be expected from a conventional tonearm. While the arm is designed primarily for use with low compliance cartridges, which exploit the rigidity and integrity of the desigh to the full, its low mass allows the use of high compliance cartridges without fear of miss-match. There’s also a large Lateral Mass Ring which is designed to improve the stability of lower compliance cartridges. The arm is mounted on a Linn LP12 armboard, external cable is intact. 	Royd Merlin loudspeakers on stands Product Code: RM SOLD Royd Audio - "the best loudspeakers you've never heard of" These Merlin bookshelf sized speakers are on sale complete with their stands. 	Linn Sondek LP12 - early model Product Code: SLP12 SOLD This is good example of one of the original Linn Sondek LP12 models which created the reputation that has endured for over 30 years. Serial no. is 20496 which means it was manufactured in approximately 1977. Overall it is in quite good condition. There are a couple of small dark patches on the front of the wooden plinth where some minor damage has been repaired. The cover is very good with only scuff marks. 	Ortofon T-5 step up transformers (pair) Product Code: T5 SOLD In order to boost the output of a moving coil cartridge some sort of step-up device has to be used. One way to do this is with a pair of passive transformers. These Ortofon units date from about 1975. The current equivalents sell for A$565 a pair.		Price:	QTY:

Mounting plate suits turntables with an SME cut out but can be mounted on almost any turntable. Not strictly secondhand as it has never been sold, but has been used for a few months. Supplied with all original packaging and comprehensive mounting instructions. This tonearm currently sells in the UK for 130 pounds, equivalent with freight to about A$400.129.90 inc. 	Linn Sondek LP12 Basik Product Code: LP12B SOLD An excellent example of the turntable that has set the standards for 30 years. A classic LP12 with Basik tonearm and cartridge. In original condition. Serial number 58221, built approx. 1985. Current equivalent model sells for over $3000. This turntable has been expertly set up and is performing as good as when it was new. 	Thorens TD-166 turntable & tonearm Product Code: TD-166 Mk II SOLD A budget belt drive turntable from a classic manufacturer. This one has had a bit of a hard life. The perspex cover is fairly scratched and the hinges are broken. The top of the plinth is also marked. Despite the poor appearance this turntable will still run rings around any common brand (eg Japanese) unit. A chance to get a respected name brand hi fi turntable for the price of a mid-fi unit.
