	LINN Sondek LP12 with Cirkus upgrade Product Code: LP12CK An early model LP12 (serial no. 19431) that has been upgraded to the Valhalla motor board and had the Cirkus modification installed. This provides an upgraded main bearing and sub-platter, new suspension springs and stiffened sub-chassis. The Cirkus upgrade sells for $1090. The armboard was drilled for a Linn tonearm but has been modified to enable a Rega RB250 to be fitted. The RB250 has had the inner wires replaced with Incognito wires, and the external leads upgraded with better cable and gold plated RCA plugs. The stub and counterweight have been upgraded to the RB300 ones. The base has been replaced with the Decibel Acrylic base with Vibrapods (sells for $198). New spring loaded hinges have been fitted and also brand new lid ($187). The superb Boston Audio graphite Mat1 is included ($275). A Garrott P77 cartridge in very good condition is included. 	CAMBRIDGE AUDIO Azur 640P phono pre-amplifier Product Code: 640P SOLD The 640P phono pre-amplifier (sometimes known as a phono stage) also uses superior amplification circuitry for its MM and MC stages to provide the lowest possible distortion and noise. In addition, the flagship model employs multi-parallel capacitors to achieve exceptional RIAA accuracy of only 0.3dB up to 50kHz and features a defeatable subsonic filter. The Azur 640P phono pre-amplifier employs a comprehensively specified Moving Magnet stage, as well as the higher gain needed for compatibility with high-end Moving Coil (MC) cartridges. 	THORENS TD126 electronic turntable Product Code: TD126 SOLD The TD126 was the top of the line Thorens turntable in the late 70's. This one has been completely restored and is in excellent condition. It features a suspended chassis, electronically controlled motor with 33, 45 & 78 speeds and auto-shutoff. The TP16 tonearm is suitable for a wide range of medium and high compliance cartridges. 	DUNLOP Systemdek III turntable Product Code: STD3 SOLD Two Speed Sprung Chassis Turntable This Systemdek III has been refurbished. Originally in very poor condition it has been completely stripped down and re-assembled. The Aluminium extrusion frame has been polished, the deck has been sprayed metallic grey. The clear acrylic lid is in good condition. The Rega RB300 shown in the photo has been rewired internally with the same cable as used in Incognito rewire kits, has new gold plated cartridge clips, and gold plated RCA plugs. A cartridge is not included in the price. The deck is available without tonearm for $660. While cosmetically not brilliant, the unit performs extremely well. It has a three spring suspension similar to a Linn LP12 but a more sophisticated adjustment arrangement. The tonearm mounting plate is drilled for Rega type mounting (25mm hole). 	DUAL CS5000 turntable 33/45/78 Super OM20 Product Code: CS5000 SOLD A fine example of a rather unique turntable. It's belt drive and features a quartz controlled AC motor with 33, 45 and 78 speeds. The sub-chassis is suspended on 4 adjustable sprung feet. The lightweight tonearm has a headshell with VTA adjustment and an Ortofon Super OM20 nude elliptical cartridge in good condition. A new stylus for 78s is included ($66). There is an automatic lowering device and the tonearm lifts of the record at the end of a side. There is heavy duty tonearm Progold cable with Neutrik RCA connectors. The solid oiled walnut timber base is in excellent condition, the lid has no cracks but a few scratches and has new Linn hinges ($55). 	REVOLVER turntable with SYSTEMDEK tonearm Product Code: REVSD SOLD The Revolver turntable features a split plinth cut from MDF sheet, the two halves isolated from each other by foam rubber. The lightweight (1kg) platter is also cut of MDF and is topped with a felt mat. Drive is via an AC synchronous motor with manual speed change. This unit is in quite good condition although the perspex cover has a small crack near the left hand hinge. The tonearm is a SystemDek and is fitted with an Ortofon DN165E cartridge with a brand new stylus. 	MUSIC FIDELITY pre-amplifier Product Code: X-PreV3 SOLD Only a few months old - in perfect condition in the original packaging. Current new price $1799. The X-pre v3 from Musical Fidelity is a beautiful compliment to the rest of the X-range. It's a design that belies not only its size, but also its price, punching well above its weight. Sporting 3 line inputs, tape loop and a phono stage, the X-PRe v3 is a great little preamp. The X-PREV3 has a similar circuit to the original Nu-Vista preamp but implemented with solid state. It has extraordinary overload margins, low distortion, low noise and wide bandwidth. In every respect (apart from its size) the X-PREV3 qualifies as a true high-end product. It only fails to live up to the high-end ethos in its price, it's not expensive enough for its performance. We think that's great. 	TEAC PX-270 semi-auto belt drive turntable Product Code: PX270 SOLD This is one of the better Japanese belt-drive turntables as it has a suspended metal sub-chassis and a lightweight tonearm. The mechanism to provide the auto-return is very simple and works well without interfering with the tracking of the cartridge. The cartridge is a basic Audio Techica with round diamond which has been cleaned and examined. The unit is suitable to be upgraded to a better cartridge such as the popular AT95E. Overall condition is good, but the lid has several marks and scratches. There is some motor hum but only noticeable when close to the unit and not playing music. 	LINN LP12 turntable with Origin Live DC motor upgrade Product Code: LP12DC SOLD This is an early model LP12 which has been substantially upgraded. The suspension springs and rubber grommets have been replaced with new ones, the original AC motor has been replaced by an Origin Live DC motor with an external controller box. As well as improved sound this also gives both 33 and 45 rpm speeds. The base has been replaced with an acrylic baseboard and Vibrapods. The main bearing has been re-oiled with Linn black oil. Spring loaded hinges have been fitted for the lid, which is the original and in quite good condition (a bit cloudy). The Grace G707 tonearm has has new gold plated cartridge clips and RCA plugs fitted. There is also a neat little Audio Technica end of record lift device, which works remarkably well to raise the tonearm when a side is finished. A Boston Audio Mat1 replaces the original rubber mat. The value of the upgrades alone exceeds $1500. An Entre1 low output moving coil cartridge is included but other cartridges are available. 	LINN Sondek LP12 Cirkus Ekos Troika Lingo Product Code: LP12CETL SOLD A fully upgraded Linn Sondek LP12 in excellent condition. Purchased originally in 1982 (serial no. 27276) it has had the Cirkus main bearing and subchassis upgrade. The original tonearm has been replaced with the top-of-the-line Ekos. 	Era 2022 belt drive turntable Product Code: 2022 SOLD Like brand new! In original packaging, complete with manual, never been used. ERA is a French hi fi brand from the 80s. This attractive unit is a belt drive with suspended chassis, and the tonearm uses a universal headshell making it easy to change and compare cartridges. The platter is now an acrylic one, with a rubber mat instead of the standard felt one. 	Luxman direct drive turntable Product Code: PD290 SOLD Luxman quartz locked direct-drive turntables were a very popular item in the late 70s and 80s. This is a good example. In good condition it features switchable auto or manual operation. It includes a moving magnet cartridge which has been cleaned, aligned correctly and tested. Also included is the original packaging and owners manual. The lid is marked in a couple of places as you might expect after 20 or so years. This turntable deserves a better cartridge that what was provided as standard and an alternative new cartridge can be selected at a 20% discount (also includes settting up and testing).		Price:	N/A

	Acoustic Research 77XB turntable Product Code: 77XB SOLD This is good example of a classic 3 point suspended turntable design. Overall in good condition. The tonearm is the original. There is a grey "felt" mat, and an AR stylus pressure gauge. The RCA plugs are not original and quite heavy duty although not a matching pair. The lift off dust cover is in fair condition. It has a basic Audio Technica cartridge - the stylus is in good condition. 	LUXMAN belt drive turntable (Rega P3 copy) Grace 707 tonearm Product Code: A522 SOLD An unusual item. Luxman are known for their excellent direct drive turntables but this one is a copy of a Rega Planar 3. It uses the same belt drive pulley and subplatter arrangement, and a glass platter. It's non-suspended, with a separate section for mounting the tonearm, which means different tonearms can be fitted. The tonearm included is the well known Grace 707. It is also available without tonearm for $385. This unit is in as new condition, with the original packaging and manual. The dust cover is unmarked - perfect.		Price:	N/A

	Syrinx tone arm Product Code: PU2 SOLD A classic tonearm from the late 70s. The mechanical design of this arm is unique and is not oil damped or de-coupled in any way but due to the mass relationship of the vertical and horizontal planes the arm behaves like a critically damped tonearm. The major bass resonance magnitude, for example, is less than half what would be expected from a conventional tonearm. While the arm is designed primarily for use with low compliance cartridges, which exploit the rigidity and integrity of the desigh to the full, its low mass allows the use of high compliance cartridges without fear of miss-match. There’s also a large Lateral Mass Ring which is designed to improve the stability of lower compliance cartridges. The arm is mounted on a Linn LP12 armboard, external cable is intact. 	Linn Sondek LP12 - early model Product Code: SLP12 SOLD This is good example of one of the original Linn Sondek LP12 models which created the reputation that has endured for over 30 years. Serial no. is 20496 which means it was manufactured in approximately 1977. Overall it is in quite good condition. There are a couple of small dark patches on the front of the wooden plinth where some minor damage has been repaired. The cover is very good with only scuff marks. 	Ortofon T-5 step up transformers (pair) Product Code: T5 SOLD In order to boost the output of a moving coil cartridge some sort of step-up device has to be used.
