Decibel Hi Fi is the Australian and New Zealand agent for EJ Jordan Designs range of metal coned loudspeaker driver units. We do not supply them outside of this area, but the enclosure kits can be sent anywhere in the world. In 2007 the EJJordan business was purchased by Esoteric Audio Designs, a Swedish company specializing in ribbon tweeters. Ted Jordan remains involved in a senior consulting role.

Ted Jordan is regarded as "The Father of Full Range" speakers and has been developing his drivers for nearly 50 years. There are currently 4 models. The JX92S is a 4" full range driver, and the new JXr6 HD is the world's widest range 2" driver. The JX125 is a 6 inch bass/mid driver, and the JX150 is an 8" bass driver.

These provide the simplest way of achieving a stunning stereo pair or suberb home cinema or multi room sound system throughout a home, restaurant, foyer etc.

As well as selling the drivers by themselves for enthusiasts to experiment with their own enclosure designs we are producing cabinet kits based on the designs published by Ted Jordan on his website. The standard kits are made from moisture resistant MDF. We also have solid timber kits available in a variety of timbers, such as Jarrah, Tasmanian Oak, River Red Gum, Rosewood. These kits enable you to easily produce a beautiful natural timber gloss finish.
