Decibel Hi Fi offers several loudspeaker kits using the famous Ted Jordan drivers. Information about these is in the separate category EJ Jordan Speakers.

In this category we have two high performance sub-woofers, designed by Russell Storey of Stones Sound Studio.

We are also pleased to announce the availability of a new omni-directional design. Similar in concept to the Sonab and Bose speakers of the 70s and 80s these kits are designed to provide a high quality, spacious sound, and are very versatile in their placement options. They can be placed against walls, alongside furniture, and provide a non-directional sound field which gives a stable stereo image anywhere in the listening area. They have been developed by Russell Storey of Stones Sound Studios exclusively for Decibel Hi Fi.

The initial kits are in plain moisture resistant MDF, and a variety of finishes may be applied. The kits are complete with high precision routered enclosures, drivers, crossover components, terminals, damping materials, and grille kits. Assembly is straightforward, requiring few tools, and detailed instructions with photos are provided.

	200W 8" Subwoofer kit Product Code: XLS800 We have selected and tested this kit to provide excellent results with the new JXr6HDs in 2 litre enclosures. And of course it will also match up with the JX92Ss systems because the crossover frequency can be varied between 60 and 200Hz. 	200W dual 12" subwoofer kit Product Code: XLS1002 The XLS1000 is a true audiophile subwoofer. It is easily capable of out performing a majority of units costing multiples more. A beautifully clean sound with very fast and tight bass at either subtle volumes or at extra high SPL, reproducing deep, dynamic and detailed bass at frequencies down to the infra-sonic. 	Decibel Omni premium kit (pair) Product Code: DBOPK The Decibel OMNI loudspeaker kit is a medium sized floorstanding unit which can be positioned alongside, even behind furniture, and projects the sound upwards to reflect off the ceiling and walls. They are intended for general stereo use, particularly in rooms where conventional forward facing speakers are hard to position. They also work wonderfully as surround speakers in a home theatre system. They are efficient enough to be used with modest amplifiers but deserve better. They have been designed to be placed close to walls and the bass response benefits from such positioning. They can also be placed up on a sideboard, even in wall units, such is their versatility. 	Fully finished Omni Premium speakers (pair) Product Code: DBOPFF The Decibel Omni Premium loudspeakers can now be supplied fully finished in Sapele timber veneer. They are coated with two coats of Danish Oil and natural wax. Grilles are usually black but white and brown are also available. Availability is about 4 weeks from order.		Price:	QTY:

	Dynafone 10" bass driver Product Code: DF Not everyone wants refrigerator -sized sub cabinets and most large subwoofers with huge Xmax don't have the agility to keep up with full range and open baffle speaker systems. Dyna-fone does. Designed with a powerful motor to run in a ~30L cabinet, sealed for best transient response. Rigid cast aluminum basket. 10"(260mm) to basket rim edge.
